Q What are your hours?

A Our summer hours (April – October) are weekdays 7:00 A.M. until
4:30 P.M. and Saturday 7:30 A.M. until 12:00 Noon. Our winter hours (November – March) are weekdays 7:30 A.M. until 4:30 PM and closed Saturday.

Q Do you sell to the general public?

A Yes, we supply the general public, contractors, and builders.

Q What is your return policy?

A Returned items must be accompanied by a receipt / invoice. A re stocking charge of 5% will be applied to all material returned by customers to the yard. A 20% restocking fee plus a $140 fuel charge will be applied to material picked up by CBS. Special order items, manufactured stone and non-stock brick cannot be returned.

Q What forms of payment are acceptable?

A We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Expressr as well as cash and checks. Those writing checks must have proper ID.

Q What are your delivery charges?

A CBS Account Holders/Contractors will be charged a $140.00 delivery/fuel surcharge. Retail customers will be charged a $200.00 delivery/fuel surcharge.

Q Do you weigh vehicles for registration?

A Yes, we have certified scales at each location and we provide weight slips to register your trailer or truck

Q Do you sell ready-mix concrete?

A Yes (at 900 W. Third Ave. location only).
We have concrete carts which will hold up to 1 yard of ready-mix concrete that you pull with your qualified vehicle. There are certain requirements to meet. First is that you have a full sized truck or van with a 6,000 lb. rated hitch with a 2″ ball rated at 5,000 lbs., or a 6,000 lb. rated Pintle hitch. You will also need a tail light plug that accepts a 4-pin flat plug. The driver of the towing vehicle must show proof of insurance and a driver’s license. We sell increments of 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 yard. You get 2 hours use of the cart from the time you leave our yard. For further information go the “Products” page and click on Ready-mix Concrete.
